Craig David was honoured with the Outstanding Achievement accolade at the Urban Music Awards (UMAs) last night (04NOV05).
The ALL THE WAY singer, 24, was thrilled with the tribute and hailed the UK's "vibrant" and "cool" music scene.
He says, "It's cool to be part of it, it's lovely to be part of something that I've very much come out of - the whole urban scene."
The ceremony marked the awards show's third year.
